We believe God created the world and gave it to us as a place to carry out the activities of life as part of his plan to return to him. We will share the good in the world that exemplifies people engaged in finding and giving what is best for each other.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint’s 13th article of faith provides the pattern used to guide our selections. “We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous and in doing good to all men; indeed we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul: “We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.”
We find great value in the stories from our history both as Latter-day Saints and as Americans. We benefit from the past most when we learn from it and use it to create our future. We will share stories to help each another to build our best future selves. Through stories, we are able to look for and find the capabilities we need to shape our future. We then have examples to go about personally installing those capabilities necessary for our desired future.
We wish to be like Honey Bees who actively seek the materials and ingredients required to build the hive and to make honey. We aim to locate and assemble examples where people have found the elements that create great lives. May each of us make HONEY abundantly!
